What is the use of drones?

999

Drones, as the name suggests, are airplanes that no one drives, but don't underestimate them. Many people are not very familiar with drones. What are the uses of drones? In fact, the use of drones is also constantly developing with the trend of technology and life. Perhaps you haven't noticed yet, but in fact, drones have long been integrated into our lives. For example, wedding aerial photography has almost become a must-have project for wedding companies, with drone pilots earning a monthly salary of over 10000 yuan. If you don't believe me, let's take a look at the functions of these drones below!

1. Image shooting

Using drones for filming is currently a common application. For example, in last year's report on the "most impressive illegal construction" in Beijing, a certain media used drones to fly directly into the air and obtained a large number of exclusive photos and videos of the illegal construction without any blind spots.

There is also a newlywed couple in the United States who used a quadcopter to capture beautiful images of their wedding day. Furthermore, someone manipulated a drone to fly over the unfinished new Apple headquarters and captured a spectacular video with a Gopro camera.

2. Drone delivery

Amazon's drone program, based on videos posted by Bezos and Amazon on YouTube, envisions drones that will be guided by a Global Positioning System (GPS) and fly directly to customers' doorsteps to deliver books, food, and other small items.

3. Post disaster search and rescue

In terms of disaster relief, the application of drones can also be very extensive. They can enter some dangerous areas to search for survivors, such as areas after earthquakes or nuclear radiation, and replace humans to complete some dangerous tasks. After avalanches and earthquakes, this search and rescue drone system becomes particularly useful.

4. Highway monitoring

In the United States, there are approximately 4 million miles of intersecting highways. The Federal Highway Administration has allocated $75000 for research on drone inspection of roads and bridges, laser mapping, and alert handling of traffic accidents.

The above points are the most common functions of drones, but of course, the application scope of drones is far beyond these, including providing network services, environmental monitoring, creating romance, power inspection, and so on. Drones will rapidly rise in the coming years.
