6-ton small unmanned aerial vehicle completes a major leap in China's aviation industry

1

As the largest publicly exhibited tiltrotor aircraft prototype in China to date, the LaShadow R6000 adopts a configuration similar to the US military's most advanced tiltrotor aircraft V-280, which rotates the rotor shaft instead of the entire engine nacelle, achieving leapfrog catch-up in flight control and power system design.

It is worth noting that due to its unique configuration, it has similar performance to fixed wing drones, but its requirements for airports are much lower than those for fixed wing drones. According to experts' predictions, although its transportation cost per ton kilometer is higher than that of the W5000 unmanned cargo aircraft, it will be much lower than tens of yuan per ton kilometer.

In response to this breakthrough innovation, Observer Network has connected with Xia Qi, the General Manager of the Tilt Aircraft Research and Development Center of United Aircraft Corporation, to conduct in-depth discussions on the performance and future market positioning of R6000.
