Chinese Embassy in Sweden reminds Chinese citizens in Sweden to use drones with caution

55

Recently, there have been a series of incidents in Sweden where foreign tourists have been detained by the Swedish police for illegally using drones, resulting in corresponding administrative or judicial penalties for the parties involved.

The Chinese Embassy in Sweden once again reminds Chinese citizens in Switzerland and those planning to come to Switzerland that if they plan to use drones in Switzerland, they should fully understand and strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations in Switzerland. They should not use drones to take photos in no fly areas or sensitive locations to avoid getting into trouble and suffering losses as a result.

If necessary, please visit the following website to further understand the specific regulations:

1. Guidelines to UAS operations in Sweden for the use of drones by the Swedish Transport Agency:

https://www.transportstyrelsen.se/en/aviation/aircraft/drones-unmanned-aircraft/guide-to-uas-operations-in-sweden/

2. No fly zones in Sweden (Drone chart): https://dronechart.lfv.se/

If local police and law enforcement personnel inquire and investigate, please cooperate, treat the inspection rationally, answer questions truthfully, and avoid disputes or taking extreme actions.
