This heavy-duty drone is designed and developed by Shaanxi Unmanned Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. in collaboration with the First Aircraft Design and Research Institute of Aviation Industry, and manufactured by Xi'an Chida Aircraft Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd., filling the gap in the domestic military civilian dual-use flexible configuration heavy-duty drone market. Its release marks that China has become a leader in the global development and equipment of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Cao Jiang, Chairman of Shaanxi Unmanned Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters that Jiutian flexibly configured heavy unmanned aerial vehicles have a wingspan of 25 meters, a maximum takeoff weight of 16 tons, a maximum load capacity of 6 tons, equipped with a fast replaceable heavy-duty mission module, and also have heterogeneous unmanned aerial vehicle honeycomb mission modules. This heavy unmanned aerial vehicle has advantages such as high payload, high ceiling, wide speed range, short takeoff and landing, and high power. It has a modular body architecture and an open system architecture, and has the cost advantage of fully utilizing civilian production capacity for large-scale distributed production; It can be widely used in high security and complex environment intelligent logistics transportation, public security border defense, maritime police and maritime supervision, emergency rescue, land and resources protection and other fields by replacing different modular task payloads.
