The world's first! Drone 'Black Technology' Debuts at Airshow

123

In Chinese ships, this eight rotor drone looks not much different from the drones we usually see, but because it carries the latest gravity measurement system independently developed by our country, it can complete tasks that other drones cannot.

Chu Ning, the head of gravity measurement technology at China Shipbuilding Institute 707, said that it integrates a high-precision gravity sensor. When the gravity changes, the gravity sensor can reflect the changes in the Earth's gravity field through high-precision current detection.

Gravity measurement is the use of a gravimeter to measure the gravitational acceleration at a certain point on the ground based on different purposes and requirements. As an important scientific task, the distribution of underground materials in different locations varies, resulting in differences in the gravity exerted on objects. Therefore, measuring accurate gravity data can not only help aircraft and rockets calculate trajectories and velocities, but also conduct scientific research in fields such as physics and geology.

Song Chao, head of the marketing department of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation's 707th Research Institute: The unmanned aerial gravity measurement system has some characteristics such as high accuracy, high measurement efficiency, wide coverage area, and can compensate for the inability of manpower. It can be widely applied in earth science research, including resource exploration, filling the gap in low altitude gravity measurement technology.
